Paying in your funds

Bank transfer by BACS - This is the method which ensures we receive the most of your fundraising total. Please contact [email protected] or call Imo on 07767 619462 and we will provide you with our bank details.

Through an online giving page - All the money raised by online fundraising sites including Gift Aid, will be forwarded directly to us. You can set up a page on our website so that we receive the most of your fundraising total or you can use a third party site such as Just Giving, Virgin Money or Crowdfund.

By phone - We accept all credit cards and debit card donations over the phone. Call us on 0207 299 6654.

By paying slip - Please contact us and we will post one out to you. The paying-in slip and cash would need to be taken to any HSBC bank.

By post - You can send cheques, postal orders, CAF vouchers or other charity cheques (please make them payable to 'Ovacome') to our office address: 'Ovacome, 52-54 Featherstone Street, London, EC1Y 8RT'. Please include a signed Gift Aid form, which can be found below. Please do not send cash.

Through our 'donate' button - You could pay your funds in through the 'donate' button on our website. Please leave a comment stating what your fundraising activity was.

CAF vouchers and other charity cheques - You must follow a different procedure for Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) vouchers. CAF vouchers must be made payable to Ovacome, sent to 'Ovacome, 52-54 Featherstone Street, London, EC1Y 8RT' and we then forward them on to CAF. Please also ensure you write your name and event on the back of your voucher.

Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Collection buckets and tins

We can send out Ovacome collection buckets or tins to help you fundraise.

Opening our collection tins

  • Please empty the tins before returning them to Ovacome.
  • Peel off the ‘Thank You’ sticker at the top.
  • Insert a suitable lever i.e. flat-blade, screwdriver etc., in the gap at the edge of ring plug.
  • Push down lever towards the under body of the plug and lever plug upwards - resistance will be encountered but the plug will pop out.
  • After removing the contents, press the ring plug back into hole.
  • If you’re willing to keep the tin and use it again please email us at [email protected] or call Imo on 07767 619462 and we will be happy to send you a new tin seal.

Returning the collection tin/bucket

  • If you no longer wish to keep the tin/bucket, please return it to us so it can be used again and save Ovacome vital funds as they cost £4.50 for a tin and £9 for a bucket.
  • Please return to 'Ovacome, 52- 54, Featherstone Street London EC1Y 8RT'.

On public property

For example a park, street or square you will need a licence.

  • You can get these from your local council, but this can take a few weeks or even longer, so make sure you allow plenty of time before your collection date.
  • You also need to inform your local police about the event. It is very important when you are fundraising that you do it in a safe and legal manner.
  • Ovacome will send you a charity letter of authorisation to submit with your application.

On private property

For example a shop, pub or supermarket.

  • Ask the owner’s permission in advance.
  • Leave plenty of time in case the person you ask has to check with someone else.

If you have any questions about collections email [email protected] or call Imo on 07767 619462.

Paying in the funds

You will need to pay the cash you collect into your own account and then send the funds to us (see 'paying in your funds' at the top of this page).
