Get involved Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month Thank you for joining us to Talk Teal this March. Together we've put a spotlight on ovarian cancer, increased awareness and raised vital funds to make a difference to people affected by ovarian cancer. With your help, we're delighted to say we surpassed our target, and raised £92,369... thank you! Every penny raised goes directly towards those affected by ovarian cancer, providing the support, information and community that so many depend on. Missed out on OCAM? You can still get involved in supporting our work and raising awareness of ovarian cancer - see below for inspiration!. How can I get involved in supporting Ovacome's work? Raise funds Ovacome receives no government funding, that's why your support matters. Every penny you raise goes directly towards those affected by ovarian cancer, providing the support, information and community that so many depend on. Paint the town teal by holding an event in your area! Bring your local community together by organizing a supermarket collection, coffee morning, quiz night, bake sale, or raffle. Whether it’s big or small, our team can provide everything you need to make it a success. Do your own thing! Take on the Teal Walk Walk for awareness and set your own goal – daily steps, weekly miles, or a month-long challenge – and inspire others along the way. Why not hand out cards with our ovarian cancer B.E.A.T symptoms to those you meet en route? Raise awareness: Know the symptoms, ask the question, could this be ovarian cancer? Ovarian cancers can be hard to diagnose because the symptoms can be similar to more common and less serious conditions. We've been talking to some Ovacome members where their symptoms were initially mistaken for other conditions.
