We are absolutely delighted to announce that Ovacome has been selected by Jennifer Young skincare to be a part of their Ten Thousand Gifts campaign! This means that we'll be able to share free Jennifer Young products with our ovarian cancer community.

Oncology skincare specialists Jennifer Young and Beauty Despite Cancer are gifting ten thousand skincare products, distributing them through charities that have been nominated by those they have helped, of which we are one.

Last month, Beauty Despite Cancer asked their customers to name the charities, hospices, and cancer support groups that they have found to be the most helpful during their cancer journey.

It was wonderful to hear that so many members of our community have felt supported over the years, and that ours is a service you would like to see continue its work supporting anyone who is living with ovarian cancer. As a result, we now have a number of Jennifer Young specialist skincare products to give away to our community.

Products included in the giveaway are the Defiant Beauty Nail Oil (4g), the Defiant Beauty Healing Hand Balm (15g), and the Defiant Beauty lip balm. The Defiant Beauty Nail Oil is a gentle, moisturising oil designed to care for brittle nails whilst going through or recovering from the effects of cancer treatment. Meanwhile, the Defiant Beauty Healing Hand Balm is a gentle multi-tasking balm that acts as a hand mask, nail moisturiser and a hand cream to soothe and restore the skin.

Jennifer says: “Everything we do at Jennifer Young and Beauty Despite Cancer is about supporting individuals each day of their cancer experience. However, we could not do what we do without the hard work of the small charities and organisations, and the individuals who run them, across the UK. These are the people who help those diagnosed with cancer, providing support, advice and someone to talk to. It is always important to us that we find ways to share the work they do. We hope our Ten Thousand Gifts solves one problem for those they support, allowing the charities to help them to focus on the rest of their incredible work.”

The aim of the campaign is to support people living with cancer across the UK, by providing them with a Jennifer Young gift. If you are the family member, partner, or friend of someone living with ovarian cancer, you can request a product to gift to them.

We can only ship the products to those living in the UK. To ensure that the limited number of Jennifer Young products are sent to those directly affected by ovarian cancer, we just ask that you be registered with Ovacome as a member. Membership is completely free and means that you will be able to benefit from Ovacome's partnerships with wonderful brands such as Jennifer Young. You can find out more about membership here.
